happening at Famous Sam's." Famous Sam's™
Restaurant and Sports Bars, the 39-year-old Arizona company
known for satisfying food and a variety of entertainment
at its locations, in conjunction with Miller Lite
and the Arizona Diamondbacks, presents an Arizona
Diamondbacks World Champions trophy tour.
The
Diamondbacks World Champions trophy will be on display for
two hours at Famous Sam's locations throughout metro-area
Phoenix on Saturdays May 4th through August 3rd, 2002, excluding
July 6th. During the two-hour display period, Diamondbacks
fans can have their pictures taken with the trophy
and enter a drawing to throw out the first pitch at the
Friday, August 9th, 7:05 p.m., game between the Arizona
Diamondbacks and the Florida Marlins. The winner's name
will be drawn August 6th. Details and contest rules are
available at each participating Famous Sam's.
Additionally, metro-area Phoenix Famous Sam's are offering
discounted tickets to the August 9th game during
the 14-week World Champions trophy tour. The "Famous
Sam's Big League Four Pack" includes four tickets to
the August 9th game (a $48 retail value), four hot dogs
and four sodas at Famous Sam's, all for $29.95. For $14.95
get two tickets to the August 9th game, two hot dogs and
two sodas at Famous Sam's.
